ALIF YOLU
Each day of Alif Yolu takes a few quiet minutes: a verse, one word to look at closely, a short reflection, one small step and a dua from the Qur’an. Every text names its source.
ALIF YOLU · DAY 1
Day 1 is freeٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
Al-Faatiha 1:2
LOOK CLOSER
The verse opens with this word, before any request. The root ḥ-m-d also opens other surahs: check 6:1 and 18:1, which begin with the same word.
REFLECTION
Most of us start a conversation with what we need. The Fatiha starts with praise. Before "guide us" comes a moment of noticing: Allah is Lord of the worlds, all of them, including the small world of your morning. Praise here is not a mood you have to produce. It is a statement you can read slowly and agree with. Try reading this one line before you check your phone today, and notice what changes when the first words of your day are about Him and not about your list.
ONE SMALL STEP
Before the first message or feed of the day, read this verse once, slowly, in Arabic or in translation.
DUA FOR TONIGHT
ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Guide us to the straight path.
Al-Faatiha 1:6

7 DAYS
Seven verses about giving thanks: for the senses, for a place on earth, for a safe journey, and in words you can say yourself.
7 DAYS
How the Qur'an describes calling on Allah: quietly, by His names, in need, with hope, while working, and why it matters.
30 DAYS
Thirty days: fasting, the Qur'an, the night, giving, character, forgiveness and the last nights.
